The Future of Nigerian Politics

The overwhelming effect of the military and colonial rule on the third world is clear in all undertakings, as scholars have widely analyzed. It is through the same chronological configuration and circumstances of social classes and interests, that the political class of Nigeria emerged, which accounts mainly for apolitical behaviors. The reason is that being one of the Western imperialism’s creatures, the natural leaning is to build Nigeria safe for their selfish interests.
We can say there is a high chance that they will marginalize and exploit. However, the position is that the political environment of Nigeria in post-colonial period has the rare chance to secure political stability, make political elites, as well as, safeguard the hard-earned liberty and democracy. For instance, the leadership and the respective political and socio-economic policies remain untouched.
The Nigerian political elite are just an incoherent group, which is a decisive cause in exacerbating the Nigerian political crisis. This is in the contest of this relationship, which we seek to clarify the nature of its political elites. We also seek to clarify the nature of the Nigerian state and its connection with the different Nigerian political crisis explicable in the current suspected politically motivated assassination and the implication on the Nigerian Democracy.
